In this 2.5-hour workshop I'll take you step by step through building your own artist website in Squarespace. You don't need any experience, just bring your laptop and your ideas.
What you'll learn:
Finding your way around the Squarespace interface
Building a homepage that makes a strong first impression
Choosing fonts, colours, and styling to reflect your practice
Adding pages, collections, and blog posts
Organising your navigation menu
Connecting your social media channels
Setting up a contact form
By the end of the session you'll have a solid work-in-progress and the confidence to finish and launch your site independently.
Before you come, please prepare:
A selection of high-quality images of your work (aim for at least 5–10)
A short artist bio and any written content you want on your site: an about blurb, a statement, contact details, etc.
The more content you bring, the more progress you'll make on the day.
You'll need a laptop and a free Squarespace trial account, we'll set this up together at the start of the session.
