Who am I?

At some stage, someone who doesn't know me personally will find this website (we live in hope!), so in case that is you and you are curious, I thought I could share a little bit about me.

Born in Barcelona but living in Auckland, Aotearoa (New Zealand), since 1992, I consider myself blessed to be both a Spaniard and a Kiwi. I live with my husband, Ben, and our two young kids, Leo & Mia, in the suburb I grew up in. If you had told me this would be the case 10 years ago, when I was living in Melbourne and jet-setting around the world, I would have laughed in your face.

But... Life is funny (hahaha).

I studied Graphic Design even though I would have loved to go to art school, and have spent most of my career working in account and project management for advertising, branding and marketing agencies. 

In reality, I have spent my whole professional life wanting something more. More fulfilling, more meaningful, more ME. While I enjoyed the mechanics of my job, for the most part, I had a deep-seated feeling that it was not the right path for me. 

So very recently I have taken the plunge and decided to throw my all into seeing if I can make some semblance of a living by making art, which feels like the thing I should maybe have been doing all along. I'm not sure if it's going to work, but I am going to give it a damn good go.

Because at the end of the day: if not now, then when?
